Melissa Musiker

Melissa Musiker is a Senior Vice President and head of strategy at Mission North. She builds integrated communications programs that bring measurable and timely increases in awareness, enhance reputations and have meaningful business impact. Most recently, Melissa led international public affairs and global issues management for McDonald’s Corporation. Prior to that, she spent eight years at APCO Worldwide focused on communications strategy for clients seeking to engage along the continuum of agriculture, food, nutrition, healthcare, wellbeing and sustainability. While at APCO, she led the commercialization of an award winning model for mapping social media thought leadership to inform corporate strategy and campaigns.

Melissa has a bachelor’s in Nutrition Sciences from Cornell University. Prior to working in communications, she was a practicing clinical dietitian. She also has a master’s in public policy, with a concentration in health policy and econometrics, from the Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy.
