Canva has a reputation for making professional-level graphic design tools accessible for any user. In 2021, Mission North helped launch Canva’s Video Suite, bringing the power of video editing to the masses, too. This launch allowed the company to compete more directly with companies like Loom and Vimeo.
Canva had offered video support for some time, with media pick-up stretching back to 2019. To differentiate the 2021 product launch, we created a variety of assets to bring the product and its need in the market to life: a research report on US video workplace trends, customer case studies, thought leadership and “how-to” content. The rise of workplace video creation during the pandemic also gave the team the perfect trend to capitalize on for the launch.
By using these assets to show how video is playing an important role in the hybrid workplace, Canva’s Video Suite made headlines in priority outlets from TechCrunch, ZDNet, Business Insider to The Daily Dot, CRM Magazine and How-To-Geek.
