Standard Bots

mission

To build the world’s preeminent robotics platform.

ABOUT

Standard Bots is America's largest manufacturer of AI-native industrial robots, trusted by hundreds of customers from large enterprises like Sunoco, Amazon, Lockheed Martin, NASA, and the U.S. Army, to hundreds of SMB manufacturers.

Building America's Robotics Company

Challenge

An industrial robotics company in a category dominated by humanoid hype. Standard Bots makes robotic arms, which draw less attention than the humanoids that monopolize the attention economy but get real work done. To break through a crowded market and build real awareness ahead of a major raise, the company needed a story bigger than robotics.

Strategy

While competitors sold sci-fi visions of humanoids, we anchored Standard Bots in something more powerful: American reindustrialization. We built a strategic narrative, American Robots for American Workers, that framed the company as the answer to a national question about manufacturing, jobs, and industrial independence.

Then we made that narrative travel. We put CEO Evan Beard at the center of the policy conversation, turning his congressional testimony and government engagements into sustained proof that Standard Bots was actively shaping America's robotics future. Through months of disciplined media work, event support, and executive positioning, we built mindshare steadily, so that by the time the Series C arrived, the story was already written.

Impact

Standard Bots emerged as America's robotics company, the name attached to the conversation about bringing manufacturing home. When the company raised its $200 million Series C at a $1 billion valuation, the narrative carried the news and made it land as a milestone in a bigger American story.

That story took hold in the outlets that shape opinion and move markets. A Bloomberg broadcast exclusive and editorial feature, a Forbes headline that echoed our key narrative, "Bringing Jobs Back to the US via… Robots?", a marquee TBPN appearance, and a Cheddar segment framing Standard Bots as the startup fighting back against China's robotics surge. Across POLITICO, Semafor, and beyond, coverage consistently reinforced the company's vision for American manufacturing and industry.

The result was ownership. Standard Bots now enters its next chapter in command of its narrative and its market position as the definitive voice for American-made, AI-native robotics.
