We are drowning in content, yet craving connection. As AI accelerates the content in our feeds, trust matters more than ever. The relationships that build trust happen between people, not machines.
And the strongest relationships are still built in person.

That belief is at the core of some big news: Mission North has acquired cred, a communications agency specializing in thought leadership and events for the innovation economy.
Caitlin Bartley and her incredible team are the best in the industry at what they do, putting execs on the most important stages and producing experiences that create real business value. By joining forces, we aim to build an integrated thought leadership and events offering that meets this moment.
The stage is one part of what makes an event valuable, creating a platform for people to share and learn new ideas, while the conversations around it can be just as valuable. That’s where we hear what’s actually working, pressure-test our assumptions, and build deep relationships.
That can happen at a major industry conference, an intimate dinner for customers and prospects, an analyst day, or a media event. Companies aren’t just looking for the right stages to join. They’re creating their own. The formats are always evolving, but the purpose is the same: connect people around ideas that matter and build lasting relationships.
cred positions executives and secures speaking engagements on stages like SXSW, HumanX and Milken, and produces memorable experiences from VIP dinners to large-scale conferences.
That requires deep relationships across the events industry, an understanding of what it takes to earn a place on important stages, and the ability to create live experiences from the ground up. cred has spent more than a decade building these relationships and experience, earning the trust of high-growth startups and Fortune 500s, including Notion, Together AI, Cisco and Salesforce.org.
Executives are expected to show up in the media, on stages and podcasts, and in our social feeds. But too often, those efforts are treated as separate programs rather than parts of a connected strategy.
That’s the opportunity we see in bringing Mission North and cred together. Our communications expertise, combined with cred’s strength in speaking and live events, will give our clients a more holistic thought leadership solution for every channel, audience and experience.
cred will continue operating under Caitlin’s leadership and its own brand, with our strategic backing.
We look forward to seeing you, in person, soon. In the meantime, reach out if you’d like to learn more.
