Laura Sweet

Laura brings a wide range of skills to Mission North and has a knack for streamlining processes that help a business scale. She has a roll-up-the-sleeves mentality and is passionate about supporting company-wide business initiatives with her analytical approach.

Prior to Mission North, Laura worked in finance and operations at a software engineering school for women. There she had the unique experience of managing finance and operations for the entire company, from its early stages as a bootstrapped startup through its acquisition by a major public company.

Laura has worked in the finance field for more than seven years and loves the challenge of juggling multiple projects, analyzing data to understand the fundamental workings of a business, and collaborating across teams. Her passion for data-driven strategy is what drew her to Mission North’s content-forward approach to PR.

In her spare time, you can find her road-tripping to Tahoe, working in her garden, or hiking in Marin with her dog Walter.

Laura holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from San Francisco State University.
