Mission in Motion: Our Second Annual Social Impact Report

Mission in Motion Marquee

Turn vision into impact.

This is our guiding purpose at Mission North. To get there, we partner with companies addressing some of the biggest challenges of our time. This purpose also drives our efforts to use our business as a force for good inside Mission North and within our local communities.

To measure our impact – and hold ourselves accountable for increasing it over time – we’re proud to share our second annual Social Impact Report. By publishing this report, we hope to:

  • Foster a culture of belonging, corporate philanthropy, and volunteerism.
  • Attract and retain people committed to making a positive impact within our industry and the communities in which we live.
  • Inspire industry peers and clients to grow their social impact.

Mission North celebrated a number of accomplishments in 2022, but a few stand out:

  • We became a benefit corporation, joining less than 1% of other U.S. businesses. This legal tool weaves corporate social responsibility into the fabric of our company and ensures that the work we do benefits our people, our community and our environment.
  • We launched The Future Is Fellowship to advance equity within Mission North and in the communications industry. We welcomed our first fellow with a $15,000 scholarship, a $5,000 stipend and a paid internship.
  • We committed more than $190,000 in financial grants, donations and pro bono services, surpassing $1.5 million invested in our communities since our E3thos program’s inception.
  • We dedicated more than 1,000 paid volunteer hours to causes we care about, a 280% increase over 2021.
  • We achieved a 78/100 belonging score and a 62 employee Net Promoter Score. We’re encouraged that the majority of our employees feel welcome, appreciated and engaged.

Our social impact work grounds us during challenging moments and energizes us to do more during the good ones. We’re just getting started – thank you for joining us on the journey.
