Mission North Hosts its First Backdoor Party at RSA

Mission North Director of Content & Media Strategy Elinor Mills conceptualized and hosted its inaugural RSA happy hour this week. Featuring open bar, custom cocktails and appetizers, the Mission North Backdoor Party was held on Monday, February 24 from 5-7 pm at John Collins on 138 Minna Street near New Montgomery.

The concept was a simple one — give journalists and security researchers a place to escape the RSA hype and relax with their peers. As Ms. Mills described it, “a low-key happy hour where hackers can be hackers, reporters can be lazy and ‘suits’ should be left at the door.” Kudos to Elinor and her Backdoor Party co-hosts Rod McLeod and Sara Yin.
